Dental Technology
Technologies at Our Dental Clinic in Hanover
Our dentists use technology to inform treatment planning and make your dental appointments run as smoothly as possible.
We can display digital X-rays and scans on monitors in our treatment rooms, which means we can show you any issues in your mouth and walk you through your treatment plan.
Our goal is to provide patients with dental care while making sure they are fully informed about their oral health. Dental technology helps us do that.
Digital X-Rays
With digital X-rays, traditional photographic X-ray film is replaced by digital sensors, which produce highly detailed computer images of the teeth and gums. We can also assess other oral structures and conditions, and your dentist can examine parts of the mouth that are not visible to the naked eye. This allows us to capture a snapshot of your oral health.
Panoramic X-Rays
Your dentist can use panoramic X-rays to create a single image of your entire mouth. This image is a flat representation of the teeth, upper and lower jaws, temporomandibular joints (TMJ), and the nasal and sinus structures. Panoramic X-rays are often used to help plan treatments for extractions, implants, braces, or dentures.
